Using implants with phones

Enquiry: I work with teenagers and wonder if you know of any courses which would instruct teenagers in the use of the processors with mobile phones, iPods and things like that?
Reply: We don't know of any courses for teenagers like this although we did run such a session last summer at our teenage event at The Ear Foundation. It would be worth looking at the Teens section of Sounding Board as this has information about using various implants with mobile phones and other battery operated devices. Teenagers might also want to look at the profiles and hopefully add a profile themselves. There is lots of information on the site.
